In summary LGFI services provided for the SR&ED process are as follows:
  • Study your company's R&D activities and identify all missed opportunities.
  • Be available to the customer 12 months a year with quarterly visits as a  minimum to verify that the company is focusing on documention and contractual matters that could easily jeopardize SR&ED tax credits.
  • Interview your staff and select key employees that will form part of our SR&ED team.
  • Outline the different R&D projects in a manner to maximize the SR&ED tax credits.
  • Propose and implement an approach such as:
    • Assist and coach your employees to organize proper records and accounting for current and future R&D audits.
    • Assist and coach your R&D staff to prepare a complete set of technical reports for maximum results. We will constantly review all reports and suggest improvements.
    • Assist in the preparation of the R&D claim.
    • Review of administrative and financial documentation required by the accounting services of both internal and external origin to reduce unnecessary cost.
    • Prepare the client and assist in the defense of the SR&ED Scientific and Cost Audits if they occur.
